**The Role**
The APS 6 Parliamentary Works Committee Coordinator in the Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch (CFI) will work under the guidance of the Assistant Director to coordinate submissions on capital facilities and infrastructure projects to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works (PWC).

You will be required to have a high level of stakeholder engagement and be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. You will have an in-depth knowledge of coordination and administration functions and provide advice and guidance to the Director General Capital Facilities and Infrastructure (DGCFI) and Branch in relation to PWC processes.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Providing accurate, timely and expert advice to the Branch and DGCFI regarding the processes and requirements of the PWC.
- Receive, record and process correspondence between the Branch and the PWC and documentation to and/or from the DGCFI in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage all requests, internally and with the PWC including any relevant details in the tracking system.
- Coordinate the documentation required for PWC referrals including but not limited to Statement of Evidence, Confidential Cost Estimate, Community Consultation Report and other supporting documents as required.
- Finalising PWC documentation to a high standard of presentation, checking adherence to appropriate standards and formatting requirements with a high-level attention to detail.
- Provide advice and support for whiteboard meetings, PWC rehearsals and face-to-face PWC Briefings and Hearings.
- Liaise with the PWC Secretariat and Department of Finance on Project matters.
- Act for the Assistant Director PWC as required, run meetings and manage workflow in their absence.

There will be a requirement to travel interstate on occasion.

**About our Team**
The Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch in the Security and Estate Group is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of projects in the Enterprise Estate and Infrastructure Program, including the progression of projects through the PWC process. The Defence PWC team operates in a high tempo environment and is responsible for coordinating and managing Branch submissions to the PWC.

Demonstrate an ability to quickly gain an understanding of the PWC Procedure manual would be advantageous.
