**Treaty - Technical Broker**
This role is based in our Sydney office and offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Sydney CBD premises.

**What the day will look like**
As part of the Treaty Team, you will support the team with technical broking and administrative support to facilitate the placement of our Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Clients’ treaty programmes.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Responsible for the day-to-day account management of Aon’s relationships with assigned clients
- Assist with preparation and delivery of reinsurance submissions, proposals and placement documentation
- Co-ordinate with clients to prepare necessary underwriting information
- Prepare and process reinsurance contracts, slips, endorsements in accordance with regulatory and market standards.
- Enhance the client experience through outstanding customer service
- Actively build and develop relationships with clients and reinsurance markets
- Participate in projects to streamline reinsurance workflows, improve service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
This position requires a driven and experienced self-starter with strong customer service skills.
Additionally, you will have the following:
- Prior working experience in Insurance or (preferably) Reinsurance sector (Broking, Underwriting, Administration)
- Understanding of Treaty reinsurance principles, markets and the placement process
- Strong relationship skills: ability to manage external/internal relationships and senior stakeholders
- Ability to co-ordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, for establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships
- Strong attention to detail, displaying a high level of accuracy and diligence in preparing, reviewing and managing client documentation
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts or placements simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong team collaboration with a proven ability to work closely with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to grow and further develop
