Chemform is a medium sized privately owned business based in Balcatta.

The company is a rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of chemicals that supplies many different market sectors.

Chemform requires a Despatch Stock Transfer Driver to join our team.

It is a full time position (38 hours per week) with hours Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 2.00pm.

The starting wage is well above award rates. The starting adult (21yo+) permanent full time rate is $27.00 per hour. Willingness to work paid overtime when required is favourable. A three to six month probationary period applies.

**The job involves (but not limited to)**:

- Transferring stock from production to despatch department
- Conduct deliveries and collection of goods
- Picking and preparing stock/orders
- Driving forklifts
- General warehouse duties
- Ensure stock is clean, presentable and suitable for despatch

**Essential Qualifications**:

- High Risk Forklift Licence LF (forklift truck) _- to meet the requirements of Worksafe W.A.
- Driver’s Licence_ - current 'MR' truck driver's licence is the minimum requirement but a ‘HR’ licence is preferable

**Evidence of these two licences must be brought to the interview**

**Desired Knowledge and Experience**:
Applicants with previous experience working in chemical stores and transportation will be highly regarded.
- Truck Driving_ - previous experience as a delivery driver and a good knowledge of the Perth metropolitan region. Competent in load restraint.
- Dangerous Goods Legislation - _an understanding of classifications and regulations associated with the storage and transportation of dangerous goods.
