**About the Company**:

**About the Role**:
Foodbank is looking for a Full-Time Driver / Storeperson role for their Perth location, who will be responsible for safe handling and movement of stock. This role includes the overall safe operating responsibility and accountability of the transport and warehouse functions, including roles such as forklift truck driving, truck driving and general warehouse duties as directed by a supervisor. This role focuses on the ability to work with volunteer staff and paid employees alike.

**Key responsibilities will also include**:

- Operate a forklift to load and unload delivery trucks, move stock around the premises as directed, and maintain a tidy backyard by properly stacking pallets and empty bins.
- Receive and accurately record donated stock and prepare stock for despatch to regional branches and remote agencies accurately recording weights.
- Replenish stock volumes on the Agency Floor, the chilled, frozen and retail areas, and remove empty pallets and packaging. Check date codes.
- Complete compliance checks to ensure adherence to HACCP and OH&S requirements.
- Deliver product to freight companies for forwarding to Regional Foodbanks and regional and remote destinations.

**Essential requirements of the role**:

- Experience and demonstrated ability in warehouse and store procedures.
- Ability to work alone and in a group environment, especially with volunteer staff.
- Medical assessment of current health
- National Police clearance and Working with Children accreditation.
- Capable of regular lifting
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Knowledge of HACCAP Processes and OH&S procedures is desirable
- Current and valid Forklift
- HR /MR licence is desirable
