About the opportunity

We're looking for an experienced **Maintenance Manager** to lead the charge at our **PGH Bricks plant in Cecil Park**. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this is a **hands-on leadership position** focused on planning, scheduling, and executing all site maintenance activities-while promoting a safe and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Maintenance team to ensure optimal site operation, maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage maintenance activities within allocated budgets and cost controls.
- Oversee service contractors, ensuring full compliance with Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment (WSHE) requirements.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities and plant shutdowns to meet KPI targets.

This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

**What you bring to the role**:
- **Tertiary qualifications** in **Mechanical Engineering** or relevant **trade qualifications**.
- Proven experience in **Maintenance or Engineering Management** within a **manufacturing operations** environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a **high-performing Maintenance team** and fostering a positive culture.
- Proficiency in **computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)**, with **SAP** experience preferred.
- Demonstrated **mechanical aptitude** and in-depth knowledge of a **wide range of equipment**.
- A **safety-first mindset**, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
