Reporting to the Group Maintenance & Reliability Manager, the main purpose of this position is to effectively manage all site maintenance and projects while controlling costs and maximising work quality. You will also be responsible for reviewing and redesigning floor layouts, as well as making changes to increase efficiency when necessary while maintaining a safe work environment.

Your new role will include the following:

- Managing, coaching and developing the Maintenance Supervisors and ensure the maintenance team are motivated and driven to complete tasks effectively
- Assisting in identifying training needs of the team - manage training matrix for maintenance team.
- Driving continuous improvement in culture from Reactive and Preventative Maintenance, towards Predictive and Proactive Maintenance.
- Planning, facilitating and managing all site projects including the installation of new equipment and building improvements.
- Ensuring the refrigeration of plant is always maintained
- Sourcing spare part suppliers, managing and controlling department costs.
- Managing cost control by ensuring effective utilisation of resources such as manning, time and materials
- Controlling Maintenance and Engineering budgets

**About You**

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

You will come with hands on experience in planning maintenance operations and applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in similar management or supervisory role
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent Trade certificates
- Sound organisation skills
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- Proficient skills within all Microsoft Appliances
- Attention to detail
- Decision making ability
- Ability to identify and drive process improvements
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management (preferably SAP)
- Experience with problem solving methodologies and competitive manufacturing systems
