We have an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal Trainee to join Revenue NSW as part of the 1000 NSW Public Sector Apprentices and Trainees Program.
The apprenticeship and traineeship program combines formal qualification, industry recognised certification and practical work experience.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Land Tax team, who are responsible for administering relevant legislations, undertaking assessments, compliance and audits, handling customer enquiries and using our expertise to research, develop and implement processes to make it easier for our customers to comply and do business with us.
**In this role, you will**:

- Earn nationally recognised qualification PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations
- Receive time to attend the Certificate IV in Government Investigations teaching
- Be matched with a mentor and supervisor to guide you
**What we need from you**:
An up-to-date resume including an outline of why you are seeking a traineeship (max 30 words) with evidence of Aboriginality.
**Aboriginal as defined by the Aboriginal Lands Rights Act 1983 (NSW) is a person who**:
- Identifies as a person of Australian Aboriginal descent
- Presents documentation identifying their family’s Aboriginal descent
- Is accepted by their local Aboriginal community as a person of Aboriginal descent.
