**Aboriginal School Based Trainee**
**Job type**:Temporary (24 months)

**Hours per week**: 7 hours
We have an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal School Based Trainee to join Revenue NSW as part of the 1000 NSW Public Sector Apprentices and Trainees Program. The apprenticeship and traineeship program combines formal qualification, industry recognised certification and practical experience.
**In this role, you will**:

- Be matched with a mentor and supervisor to guide you
**What we need from you**:
- An up-to-date resume including an outline of why you are seeking a traineeship (max 30 words) with evidence of Aboriginality.
- You will be in Year 11 in 2025.
**Aboriginal as defined by the Aboriginal Lands Rights Act 1983 (NSW) is a person who**
- Identifies as a person of Australian Aboriginal descent
- Presents documentation identifying their family’s Aboriginal descent
- Is accepted by their local Aboriginal community as a person of Aboriginal descent.

Salary Grade 1, with the base salary for this role starting at $14.07 base plus superannuation
