Store Manager

Van Dough is launching a brand-new store at Victoria Point, and we’re looking for an experienced and proactive Manager to lead this exciting venture. **About the Role**

As the Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Van Dough store’s operations. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll balance administrative responsibilities with front-line support, ensuring both the team and the store meet our high standards. Your focus will be on delivering a memorable customer experience, achieving sales targets, and fostering a positive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operational Leadership**: Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency, high-quality service, and a well-organized workspace.
- **Team Management**: Recruit, train, and develop FOH team members, setting clear expectations and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.
- **Customer Experience**: Maintain Van Dough’s service standards, handling escalated customer inquiries and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Sales and Targets**: Drive sales by analyzing performance metrics, implementing promotional activities, and working with the team to achieve revenue goals.
- **Inventory and Stock Control**: Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure product availability while minimizing waste.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all products meet presentation and freshness standards, including overseeing coffee quality and consistency.
- **Financial Accountability**: Oversee cash management, handle end-of-day reconciliations, and maintain accurate records for sales, expenses, and budgets.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure the store complies with all health, safety, and food handling regulations, creating a safe environment for customers and staff.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Proven experience in retail or food service management** (experience in bakery or café management is a plus).
- **Strong leadership skills** with a history of managing, training, and motivating teams.
- **Exceptional customer service focus** with the ability to address issues calmly and professionally.
- **Results-oriented mindset** with the drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- **Organizational and multitasking skills** to handle a fast-paced environment effectively.
- **Financial acumen** with experience in budgeting, cash handling, and reporting.

Pay: $48,313.45 - $79,926.70 per year
