BildGroup are actively recruiting a skilled and proven National Maintenance Manager, who will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the National Workshops team.

You will manage the planning and execution and maintenance of all Plant, Vehicles, repairs and warranty of equipment. You will also provide support to the National Asset Manager and Fleet Manager.

**About the Role**
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a system of work for the workshop that meets all business needs and requirements
- Setting and review of all maintenance schedules
- Be the single point of contact for all OEM for all technical and warranty issues
- Investigate and lead initiatives to improve uptime and provide a more proactive maintenance service
- Management of all workshop staff nationally
- Involvement in staff recruitment activities (in conjunction with the HR team)
- Involvement in performance reviews for all workshop
- Oversight of all workshop setup and tooling
- Oversight of all training requirements
- Involvement in workshop audits
- Supervision of day to day workshop operations

**About You**:

- Trade/Engineering/Business or relevant experience highly regarded
- ability to travel regionally and interstate.
- Leading teams of approximately 20 direct reports including people based at multiple sites.
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in managing multiple sites and repair shops and staff.
- Ability to mentor and develop workshop staff and supervisors.
- Experience with asphalting/profiling/civil/transport equipment highly regarded.
- Industry experience
- construction, fleet, logistics.
- Demonstrated experience providing management of maintenance activities over the asset life of heavy plant and equipment and also across all fleet vehicles.
- Market knowledge of various plant and equipment to inform business decisions.
- Working knowledge of relevant OHS / WHS Acts and Regulations.
- Ability to lead audits and workshop inspections effectively.
- Working with internal stakeholders to deliver an agreed maintenance management approach.
