**About the role**:
Based in Castlemaine, the Finance Business partner will partner with our Ham and Bacon manufacturing teams putting together appropriate financial budgets & forecasts, setting standard costs, measuring performance against standards & identifying cost saving opportunities. You will also manage and mentor a Cost Accountant, providing direction, training, guidance and support as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective Business Partnering to the Ham & Bacon teams
- Identify, quantify and drive cost reduction/business value
- Monitor internal controls processes
- Provide accurate product costing scenarios and opportunities for value creation
- Preparation and communication of weekly performance reporting
- Support the preparation of Capital Expenditure requests
- Ensure all reporting, monthly forecasts (Integrated Business Plans), quarterly forecasts and budgets are accurate and delivered on time

**About you**:

- Accounting or Commerce Degree with Accounting major required
- CA or CPA desirable
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement
- Effective Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Proven experience identifying and deploying process improvements
- Ability to identify true requirements & importance of each stage of reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build productive relationships and influence key stakeholders
