Are you an experienced financial professional who thrives in a dynamic environment? We're seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Officer to join our client’s team. Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day finances in addition to supporting the leadership team in working towards the strategic directions of the business.

**THE ROLE**

**Preparation of Weekly Cashflow Forecast**: Develop and manage accurate weekly cashflow forecasts to provide valuable insights into our financial position.

**Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure all financial reporting obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner, assisting in regulatory and compliance matters.

**Payroll Management**: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring adherence to industry payment standards and superannuation contributions.

**Accounts Management**: Administer and manage accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and conduct meticulous bank and credit card reconciliations.

**PAYG Payments**: Process weekly PAYG payments in compliance with tax regulations.

**Accounts Receivable Monitoring**: Monitor accounts receivable for outstanding balances, anomalies, and discrepancies, actively working to maintain up-to-date payments.

**Customer Invoicing**: Take responsibility for accurate and timely customer invoicing following project/job completion.

**Retention and Guarantees**: Organise and manage retention and bank guarantees in alignment with business needs.

**Payment Approval**: Review, approve, and upload payments onto internet banking platforms for necessary approvals.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- A background in the trade industry is ideal, but not necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
