SS&C is seeking a Communications Specialist to support the development and execution of internal and external communication, content and business/product messaging strategies for Global Investor Distribution Solutions (GIDS) and Retirement Solutions (RS). This role will also help develop and manage the communication plan for a large Australia-based client initiative.

What You Will Get To Do:
Reporting to the Global Head of Enablement and Propositions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding various GIDS and RS business messages and value propositions into market-facing content, internal education materials and managing the delivery across a range of internal communications channels. You will engage with various business teams across GIDS and RS while also providing periodic communication support to the GIDS Chief Administrative Office. As well, you will help develop, mange and execute a multi-stakeholder, multi-channel communication plan for one of GIDS and RS’ largest and most complex clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic communication programs that elevate SS&C’s corporate reputation, strengthen market positioning, and enhance brand visibility.
- Develop and lead internal communication strategies that effectively align SS&C’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) with its broader vision and business objectives.
- Devise and execute strategies to inform, engage and inspire employees across Australia to drive and maintain a high-performance culture and deliver improved outcomes for clients.
- Create and deliver compelling materials, communications and content in support for strategic business development messages and opportunities.
- Create and implement comprehensive internal and external communication plans that support key business priorities, strategic initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Ensure seamless execution of communication strategies, including change management initiatives, to facilitate business transformation and organizational growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day communication plan management one of the team’s largest Australian clients, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple stakeholders and channels.
- Ensure key deliverables and milestones are met across all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage responses to client-related communication inquiries, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business messaging.
- Align external and internal communications with SS&C’s strategic objectives, ensuring all messaging remains cohesive and complementary.
- Monitor and respond to a strategic client’s media-related matters that may impact the business and its reputation, implementing proactive and reactive strategies as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate or marketing communications, preferably in financial services or professional services.
- Expertise in developing and executing communication strategies to enhance corporate reputation and market positioning.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with internal and external audiences, including media, executives, and regulators.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities for a variety of formats (internal communications, press releases, speeches).
- Experience in change management communication.
- Proficient in project management, handling multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of digital communication tools and social media.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a field related to the job requirements, with advanced qualifications and certifications being a plus.
