About the Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides contemporary operational and professional nursing leadership for the MSH Forensic Nursing Service. The role provides leadership and oversight across all MSH campuses for both in and out of hours sexual assault services and the management of the 7 day a week nursing service provided in QPS Watchhouses in the MSH region. The role shapes interagency and multidisciplinary clinical and corporate governance; and provides the coordination of service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision. The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the Metro Health Nursing and Midwifery executive team and the Qld Police Service. The role works collaboratively and supports the Health Service priorities and the strategic direction and vision for the Nursing profession.
