About the Role
- The Nurse Educator is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, assessment and evaluation of NPDU/ Simulation Service nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues in meeting the strategic priorities of Nursing Services within Metro South Health (MSH).
- The Nurse Educator leads and supports a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional and organisational learning within a Supported Practice Framework.
- The Simulation Nurse Educator will provide leadership, coordination, technical and educational support for the simulation-based healthcare education activities of the Princess Alexandra Hospital and MSH.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervision/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
