**About us**

At Development Victoria we’re passionate about making Victoria a great place to be.

We create vibrant places across our state, through diverse and strategic property development and urban renewal projects.

As the Victorian Government’s development arm, we revitalise iconic public buildings, create important cultural and recreational facilities and repurpose public land, for all Victorians.

We also build great homes and communities where people and business can thrive, catering for different budgets, lifestyles and people - designed to be sustainable and affordable.

We help create a better Victoria.
- Are you interested in working on multi-faceted urban renewal projects?
- Are you looking for an opportunity to spark the next phase of your property development career?
- Are you an industry specialist seeking to broaden your skill set or an Assistant Development Manager ready to step up?

If you’re motivated by projects working at the intersection of public and private sectors and want to directly contribute to changing the face of Victoria, the opportunity to join our Precincts team and support project delivery and future visioning for our Docklands precinct could be the right role for you.

**About the roles**:
Melbourne's Docklands is one of Australia’s largest urban renewal projects, reconnecting central Melbourne with its historic waterfront. Comprised of eight distinct sub-precincts, Docklands continues to evolve and is home to more than 17,500 residents and 73,000 workers.

With some areas of Docklands being master-planned and others nearing completion, there is plenty of scope for Development Managers to join the Docklands team and gain exposure to a broad range of tasks including administering development agreements, asset management, financial management, contract management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, placemaking and the delivery of small infrastructure and arts projects.

Mentoring and guiding Assistant Development Managers and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will collaborate with development partners, Government agencies and key stakeholders to achieve project milestones, targets and outcomes.

**About you**:

- You’re excited and passionate about taking government policy direction and transforming it into commercially sound projects that make a real difference to the people of Victoria.
- You want to work with a group of talented professionals who share your passion for place-making but are also commercially astute with industry-leading skills and expertise.
- You are motivated by complex challenges and enjoy problem solving, often juggling multiple projects at once.
- You enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and are interested in opportunities to enhance your negotiation and influencing skills.
- You want to be part of a positive company culture with plenty of opportunities for professional development and career progression.
- You’re looking for a truly flexible workplace with a supportive leadership team where you will be acknowledged and rewarded.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Our Culture**

At Development Victoria we provide unique and rewarding career opportunities, enhanced by our diverse range of projects that really matter to people and to the future of our state - making every workday worthwhile.

We actively encourage sharing of knowledge and best practice across our teams. We respect and value every individual’s talent and contribution and harness these strengths to collectively achieve the kind of results we can all be proud of.

Development Victoria is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to making employment related decisions without bias or discrimination.
