The Opportunity:
Delaware North Australia is seeking a diligent and proactive Administration Assistant to join our Finance Team at Adelaide Airport. This casual role offers the chance to support a wide variety of administrative, accounts payable and finance tasks while developing your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do?:

- Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments and organising meetings
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing and reconciliation
- Collate invoicing and enter finance data into Excel with precision and timeliness
- Respond to finance-related requests and manage ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Perform general office duties, including scanning, digital filing, photocopying and data entry
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company standards
- Learn and use key systems (such as SCM and PeopleSoft) while leveraging your skills in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

More about you:

- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a finance or accounting environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in finance and administration
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial terminology
- Flexibility to work casual hours across 4-5 days a week
- An Accounting or Finance degree and experience in the hospitality industry, highly regarded
