The H&S Business Partner is responsible for driving the implementation of H&S policy, systems and procedures and monitoring compliance.

The role monitors compliance ensures recommendations are reviewed and implemented with site management and provides advice and support in accordance with the relevant Workplace Health and Safety legislation and Opal standards;

This includes:

- Implementation of the Opal HSMS at sites
- implementation of the Opal H&S strategy at the specified sites
- Governance and Assurance (Regulatory compliance and reporting)
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and system requirements
- Management of Workers compensation, Income protection, Health and Wellbeing
- Health & Safety Training

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Tertiary qualification in OH&S preferred
- Strong regulatory knowledge specific to manufacturing environments
- In depth knowledge of health & safety management systems
- Proven record of success within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven, positive experience in dealing with and managing regulators
- Experience in successfully driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
