Today, we are the world’s premier LCL ocean freight consolidator, and we’re still pushing boundaries. **ABOUT THE ROLE** As an import sea operator, you will primarily be responsible for coordinating the unpacking and releasing of cargo and issuing of correct documentation to customers and agents within the required time frames all while providing the highest level of Customer Service in the industry to all customers. Essential duties & responsibilities as follows: - Registrations - Cargo reporting - Pre-alerts & arrival notices - Invoicing & requesting delivery orders - Arranging unpacks & release of cargo - Job costing & EOM closure - Develop & maintain relationships with customers & vendors **WHATS REQUIRED** - Prior knowledge of import or export operations is a plus, but not required (training will be provided). - Previous experience in a similar role or internship in the logistics industry is advantageous but again, not essential - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively. **WHY VANGUARD?** We are an industry stalwart and a true innovator.
