Dental Receptionist

Full Time - Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday mornings as rostered

Richmond Road Dental are looking for a friendly and welcoming receptionist to join our long-established private Dental Practice.

Richmond Road Dental has a thirty-year standing in our local community and have built the practice purely by word-of-mouth referrals. Our new staff member would be required to show the right set of skills to ensure the continuation of our stellar reputation. Patient care is of utmost importance.

We have strict infection control policies, well organised and long-established procedures and protocols that are continuously updated to stay current and five active operative surgeries to manage. We have a fully digitalised patient management system with Practice Works and a close-knit, family-like dental team that prioritise supporting each other whenever possible.

**Your role as Lead Dental Receptionist will include such tasks as**:

- Managing incoming and outgoing calls to oversee patient bookings and specialist correspondence
- Organisation and bookings for the five dentists on staff
- Being the face of the practice by greeting all incoming patients warmly and professionally (either on site or via phone)
- Managing patient accounts and follow-up appointments
- End of day banking and settlements and general administrative work
- Helping in central sterilisation to ensure equipment processing is managed throughout the day
- Dental experience or prior reception/administrative/clerical experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with computer skills and an ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Confident and reassuring interactions with patients
- Willingness to learn and grow within your role in the Practice
- Reliable, courteous and a true team-player
