**Principal Analyst | Ongoing - Full Time**

An opportunity to join the Disability Inclusion Delivery Branch, undertaking high quality analysis, and providing high quality budget and policy advice, related to the department's output and service delivery models and investment proposals, in particular in relation to the Disability Inclusion tiered funding model.

The purpose of this role is to:

- Undertake high quality analysis, and provide high quality budget and policy advice, related to the department's output and service delivery models and investment proposals; in particular in relation to the Disability Inclusion tiered funding model
- Provide advice and prepare succinct written documents and presentations for senior decision makers;
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategies to ensure effective use of Departmental resources;
- Review and quality assure data, information and products to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Build and maintain effective relationships within the Department
- Develop and implement strategies to improve and streamline processes
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting other teams and contributing to work in other parts of the division and department when required, especially during peak periods

The role does not involve formal management of staff, but does entail project leadership and requires strong collaboration across a high-performing branch that is supportive, friendly and passionate about improving outcomes for students with disability.

The role provides an exciting opportunity for an individual with interest in identifying and promoting evidence-based practice to improve use of funding and, ultimately, student outcomes
