**About you**

Russell Healthcare are looking for experienced support workers who genuinely care and enjoy helping individuals reach greater independence. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred service delivery.It is Important to understand every individual’s needs and how they wish to continue living.

This includes supporting their individual goals, improving their social inclusion, and achieving a higher level of independence through ongoing capacity building assistance.

**Role Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- smartphone device to use online rostering and information system
- Certificate III in Individual Support OR Equivalent ( Minimum 6 months exp)
- Unrestricted Driving License (must have vehicle and license to drive)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Friendly and engaging manner
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Prior experience working with participants with mental health and various needs
- A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
- Demonstrated, proven experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments

We are involved in the day-to-day details of our client’s care, from identifying the different types of care and support, to finding the right care worker.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:
