**Position Purpose**

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the Business Implementation team consisting of Client Onboarding and Transitions functions. The team is comprised of Project managers, analysts and transition managers with the role of the team being to plan, execute and deliver client onboarding projects for BP2S Australia as well as managing the client transitions pipeline.

The Head of will lead new business implementation strategy for Australia ensuring scalable, robust and viable solutions development. The Head of will ensure alignment to global onboarding framework, identify product needs through client requests and collaborate with internal teams to evaluate fit. With commercial feasibility and operating model efficiency a prime consideration the Head of will have a strong risk awareness and tight governance understanding. Management of the Transitions pipeline will also be under the responsibility of this role, this is the ongoing service management of clients transition needs.

The Head of will lead the development and implementation of best practices on a continual basis to evolve the team into efficient and effective delivery. Collaboration with local, regional and global stakeholders as well as external parties will be a key feature of this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Activities**
- Participate in RFI and RFP responses for new business.
- Calculate onboarding cost estimates for use in deal submissions.
- Produce and deliver sales presentations with a focus on client onboardings.

**Onboarding Pipeline Management and Portfolio Planning & Delivery**
- Collaborate with Client Development, Client Delivery and Client Line stakeholders, participating in the management of the pipeline of client onboarding projects across BP2S Australia.
- Prepare high level roadmaps and budgets for the portfolio of client onboarding projects.
- Work with other Change & Transformation managers and with Operational and IT managers to identify and allocate Change, IT and Operations staff to deliver client onboarding projects.
- Monitor and report on progress against the client onboarding portfolio roadmap and delivery plans.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within the client onboarding portfolio including transitions management.

**Cost Management**:

- Contribute to and manage headcount and cost budgets for the client onboarding cost center.
- Ensure project budgets are respected and forecasts are realistic, with any variances communicated immediately.

**Staff Management**:

- Line management of direct reports in the client onboarding team and transitions; including recruitment, performance appraisal, remuneration review, succession planning, etc.
- Build a strong team by both developing existing team members and recruiting high quality new team members. Undertake regular reviews of the team structure and staff performance to ensure delivery success and staff satisfaction.
- Oversee and manage the Client Implementation offshore function include tracking and monitoring KIP’s and service levels.

**Governance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure the client onboarding team and transitions deliver projects in line with recognised best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting and communication).
