**About the Role**

The Head of Business Optimisation is responsible for driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and innovation by leveraging data, analytics, automation, and AI capability across the organisation. The role involves working with senior leaders to identify and develop business improvement strategy and roadmap, influencing them to re-imagining operations through a technology lens and leading execution of operational excellence initiatives. The role plays a pivotal role in bringing the combination of data-driven insights, automation technologies, and AI to transform business processes and build a scaled and sustainable model for business operation.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same: as **Head of Business Optimisation, **you will:

- Thought lead the development of business process optimisation strategy and roadmap to drive operational excellence and improvement in service delivery efficiency and productivity across icare’s business operation
- Collaborate and influence icare’s senior leadership team through to board in understanding and driving operational excellence and building a lean and simplified business operations
- Own the delivery of cost reduction, operational efficiency and service improvement across all business process optimisation initiatives
- Though lead discussion with leaders to shape the strategic initiatives in the business process optimisation domain, be able to shift mindset from building bots to simplifying and optimising service delivery via digital technology and AI
- Develop service catalogue and play book to drive process excellence, process re-engineering, business process optimisation
- Lead the use of Lean-six sigma methods and process data insights to improve end-to-end processes
- Work with senior leaders to develop KPIs to measure business processes
- Lead the development of process data collection, process mining and analysis, development of analytical methods to re-engineer business processes
- Develop service catalogue, measurement systems and KPIs that supports the identification of process bottlenecks and lead optimisation team in delivering sustainable and measurable financial and operational benefits
- Oversee the architecture, design and implementation of Robotics automation tool including integration with other systems and data platforms ensuring the bots remain performant, compliant and adheres to all risk and control frameworks
- Setup and operate Robotics operations and ensure icare remains compliant with all internal and external policies (e.g. security, IT)
- Collaborate with data teams to harness data insights that drive operational improvements and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure the impact of optimization efforts.
- Lead the capture of business process mapping and mining tools to analyse existing process, identifying bottlenecks and improvement areas.
- Oversee workshops and meetings to promote collaborative approach to process improvement and engage employees in the change process
- Champion change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of optimisation initiatives across the organization.
- Communicate the value and impact of optimization efforts to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and strategic goals.
- Actively build team capability through driving proactive training, hiring and team skill management
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes and outcomes, making adjustments to ensure ongoing efficiency gains
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the team is equipped with cutting-edge tools and practices by forecasting future needs for technology, infrastructure, and personnel to scale business optimisation capabilities
- Foster collaboration between the data platform, data science and business optimisation team to ensure cohesive delivery of icare’s data, analytics and AI transformational strategy
