**THE OPPORTUNITY**
As part of our diverse Multi-disciplinary team based in **Sydney** you will be working closely with icare’s Medically complex team to help support Severely Injured Workers and their families who are going through the toughest challenge of their lives.
We are seeking a dedicated case manager who wants to try a different avenue of claims management and thrives in fast paced challenging work environments and takes pride in achieving all their compliance objectives.
This will be a **permanent** position commencing **as soon as possible** with the Complex Medical Team based in the Sydney George Street office.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain a strong collaborative working relationship with icare / Workers Care, within this high profile cohort of claims
- Develop detailed and meaningful Injury Management Plans in collaboration with all parties, focusing on Return to Life, and Return to Work.
- Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
- Ensure timely and tailored support and communication is being provided for all stakeholders in relation claims to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer, EML account manager and/or primary EML claims specialist for a policy
- Adhere to compliance requirements
**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated experience in worker’s compensation claims management or from an Allied Health background
- An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support
- A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organisational and coordination skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management with sound ability to maintain relationships throughout the claims process.
- You will have a strong ability to work under pressure and process a high volume of claims.
