A unique and exciting opportunity exists for the Coordinator Patient Support Assistant to use your well-developed knowledge of the relevant Food and Environmental Service guidelines and policies and will provide a safe and healthy service for patients and a safe, productive and healthy working environment for staff.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Provide leadership and direction to sustain the provision of food, cleaning, linen and waste services in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health policies, procedures, standards.
- Supervise OO3 supervisors in line with Queensland Health/SCHHS HR policies and procedures, including performance appraisal and development.
- Ability to utilise Queensland Health software systems such as myHR for rostering for rostering attendance to ensure staff are paid accurately and S4Hana for equipment ordering and goods receipt.
- Coordinate the replacement of staff in all departments as required. This may entail redeployment of existing staff and/or calling in casual staff at short notice.
