Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

This position is also responsible for collaborating with Coordinator SCUH Roster and allocations to ensure all staff have rostered time allocations to meet their training requirements and to support the delivery of training to new starters.
This position works closely with the Manager Environmental Services - Sunshine Coast University Hospital to ensure the day-to-day operations meet the organisations requirements, with the support of supervisors and team leaders.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Assist in the management of the cleaning and patient assistance activities performed by patient support services staff, ensuring efficient services are provided using best practices and other quality improvement principles, including budget integrity.
- Assist the Manager Environmental Services - Sunshine Coast University Hospital to ensure functional areas are maintained at the standards outlined in the Queensland Health guidelines.
- Monitor work practises and internal procedures such as schedules (daily and periodical), task lists and work instructions, making recommendations for the continuous improvement of Food and Environmental Services ensuring that they comply with relevant standards.
