**Trainee Developer and Administrator, ICT & HR**
**Grade 1/2, Temporary 12 month, Full-time opportunity with the view to extend**
**About this role**
The role has been designed for Year 12 school leavers or TAFE students seeking to commence a career in the high-growth Information Technology and Human Resources industry.
This twelve-month opportunity, has the view to extend and combines a formal qualification, industry recognised certification and practical experience working with a NSW Government agency.
**What you'll be doing**
This unique combination of formal education and work experience will give you the opportunity to develop a range of skills in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) roles and Human Resources (HR), which may include
- Database development & maintenance
- Networking
- Programming
- Systems administration support
- Web development
- Machine learning and AI
- Helpdesk support
- Project management exposure

**What you'll bring to the table**
To make the most of this opportunity you will:
- Be a great communicator and teammate
- Be self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely as required
- Genuinely passionate about technology and driven to build a career in IT and HR
- Be reasonably proficient in all thing’s technology (computers/telephones/software packages), experience with Microsoft Office would be highly regarded
- Be a planner, able to prioritise and work through your tasks methodically
- Be proficient in written and verbal communication
- Have a natural attention to detail
- Critical thinking and customer service skills
- Be committed to your formal and ‘on the job’ training
- Have a can-do attitude and be an enthusiastic learner

Salary Grade 1/2, with the base salary for this role starting at 66,298 base plus superannuation
