**Business Intelligence Manager**

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will ideally have experience with the Retail industry. Able to bring those learnings to this role, be responsible for leading the development and execution of Bi initiatives and support the retail operations.

In this role you will work across internal teams, gather and analyse data, generate actional insights and drive data-driven-decisions within the organisation. This will be pivotal to shaping strategies and enhancing their competitive edge.

**Responsibilities**

**Data Analysis and Insights**
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to retail operations
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports for key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Undertake customer analysis
- Analyze sales data, labour patterns, and trends to forecast guest demand accurately
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the retail and QSR landscape

**Strategy Development**
- Collaborate with leadership, commercial insights, operations, supply chain and marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies.
- Provide recommendations to optimise inventory levels, improve sales forecasting, and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with marketing to implement data-driven approaches to

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with Technology, leadership, commercial insights, operations, supply chain and marketing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and objectives, translating them into analytical solutions
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the use of business intelligence tools and techniques.

**Data Management and Governance**
- Oversee data collection, integration, and storage processes, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Implement data governance practices and policies to maintain data security, privacy, and compliance
- Stay updated with advancements in business intelligence technologies and recommend appropriate tools and platforms

**Team Leadership**
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment

**Essential Requirements & Behaviours**

The Business Intelligence Manager will have the following experience and attributes:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and data visualization within the retail industry
- Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, specifically Power BI, and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer behaviour analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership experience
