**Job Description** About this opportunity**

**Quality and Food Safety Responsibilities**
- To assist QA Manager where required; i.e conduct internal system and food safety audits

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform quality inspection and testing of finished product in accordance with the specification, as required.
- Roving production inspection and testing, and maintenance of daily QC records for all products produced.
- Report OOS (Out of Specification) results and recommend solution to improve quality performance
- Assist with corrective and preventative action implementation for product and system non-conformance
- Work with the shift Supervisor to rectify and eliminate product non-conformances
- Act as supervisor / shift leader when required

**Detail Responsibilities**
- Shift handover
- Calibration checks of equipment
- Recording quality specifications in SAP
- Completing all relevant QA checks as per customer requirements
- Assist in resolving customer complaints
- Recommend efficient work methods during rework
- Training of employees as required
- Quarantine non-conforming product when out of spec
- Attend Quality Department meetings when required
- Maintain inventory of consumables / labels

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Quality
- Ability to read and write in English Ability to use inspection and test equipment
