One of Australia’s largest not for profit organisations is seeking a Grants and Operations Administrator to join their collaborative team.
This is a critical role that sits across the Operations and Property teams, reporting to the Director of Operations
The Grants and Operations Administrator will play a key role in providing day to day administrative support to the team. This role will also be an initial point of contact for enquiries related to property matters requiring excellent relationship building skills and a strong customer service focus.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Proactively assisting the organisation in the promotion and administration of Grants and Funding Applications
- Provide operational level administrative support to the Property team
- Work in collaboration with management and services to identify key priority areas and opportunities
- Identify potential funding opportunities which align with their programs and causes
- Maintain a database of relevant funding opportunities
- Increase the success rate and number of grants the organisation applies for to enable it to move ahead with its strategic aims
- Ensure all fundraising practices are compliant with relevant legislation
- Assisting and supporting in the day-to-day administration of the property trust, including document preparation and management
- Maintaining an internal electronic document management system
**You will have**:
- 3 to 5 years’ work experience in an administrative function and exposure working in a grants role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical ability
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a close team environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as contributing as a member of the team
- **Previous experience working in a similar role with exposure to Grants / Funding will be highly regarded, as will experience working for a not-for-profit or government**
