We are seeking a HDR Operations Support Officer, Candidature & Examinations to join Office of Research Services, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.

**About the area**

Office of Research Services sits within the Research Portfolio, Academic Division and is responsible for The Graduate Research Centre provides exceptional service and support to our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Through the provision of tailored support services, the GRC puts the student at the centre of all that we do, striving to exceed the expectations of our HDR students and supervisors from admission through to graduation..

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative to solve problems, manage priorities to meet deadlines and negotiate effective outcomes with both internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing/drafting reports, data summaries, briefing notes and complex correspondence for a wide audience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of University and faculty policies and procedures relating to student matters.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant software packages. For example, TechnologyOne’s Student Management Solution, Oracle Financials and HPRM, combined with advanced level skills in the Microsoft suite.
