**About the role**:

A unique opportunity now exists to join our team as **Human Resource Business Partner**.

In this role, you will work closely with the broader Human Resource Team and provide HR advice, guidance & leadership, primarily focusing on Manufacturing and Warehouse.

Located at our National Manufacturing & Distribution Centre in Laverton, this is a true HR Generalist role, where you will partner with the business to provide HR advisory expertise to employees and operational leaders, employment and industrial relations advice and support and lead people projects.

You will play an integral part in improving people and organisational capability.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide regular advice and training to Managers and Supervisors on contemporary Human Resources practice to encourage a productive and harmonious workplace
- Control and coordinate activities such as HR Administration, Employment Relations, Health and Safety, Employee Benefits, Remuneration and Inductions for new starters
- Monitor Employee Relations developments to ensure ER issues are managed effectively. Provide advice to stakeholders, regarding the management of cases involving misconduct, performance management, illness, EEO and absences.
- Provide advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and employee relations issues
- Work with business leaders and the internal Talent team to drive talent processes to ensure a fit-for-purpose workforce
- Lead the communications process to raise awareness of HR and OHS issues eg. Toolbox talks
- Ensure training activities are planned to meet current and future organisation and employee needs and statutory requirements
- Lead projects and implement new procedures and process improvements in partnership with the wider P&C team
- Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining high levels of employee engagement, morale, and motivation

**What you will bring to the role**:

- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a HRBP role, ideally within a blue-collar environment
- Demonstrated HR knowledge across Employee/Industrial Relations particularly within Australia/New Zealand
- Experience in supporting enterprise bargaining negotiations
- Experience in sensitively, confidentially and fairly managing people issues with solid knowledge of the legal parameters of the employment relationship
- Pragmatic, curious & solutions focused mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
- A confident communicator with proven ability to engage, coach and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously in the face of changing priorities and requirements
