**About the Business Unit**:
The Registry of Births, Deaths, and Marriages (BDM) recognises and records the significant life events which occur within the State of Victoria. BDM maintains internal and external partnerships with stakeholders who have a direct correlation to the services offered. We work hard to provide a helpful and empathetic service to all Victorians who interact with BDM.
**About the Role**:
The role of a Registry Officer is integral to the process of service delivery to members of the community, stakeholders, and business partners at BDM. These staff have the responsibility of representing the organisation through each customer interaction and are committed to creating a positive experience through the entire service journey. As BDM provides service via a high-volume inbound call centre, this is a primarily phone-based role where the successful applicant will utilise skills to assist the Victorian community providing relevant information and advice.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Experience in a Customer Service/Call centre and Operational environment for more than 12 months is desirable.
