**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) operates the Melbourne metropolitan train network, utilising various systems to ensure the planning and operation of the network meets and exceeds stakeholder expectations. A key element of the network operations is to ensure that train drivers with the right skills are assigned to the right train, at the right place at the right time.

We are looking for a

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Understand how Quintiq is configured to meet business process and related requirements and Quintiq outputs (crew roster). Maintain the currency and validity of configuration of system settings, to support agreed business requirements, including configuration of system level (global) business rules, system integration parameters, and configuration of views.
- Administer Quintiq user and licensing assignments. Accountable for ensuring adherence to Quintiq user and licensing obligations. Assisting Quintiq users with their authentication and authorization credentials necessary for system access.
- Perform basic administration of the Quintiq environments, perform Quintiq model upgrades, understand Quintiq log files, inspect Quintiq log files for errors, run diagnostic tools.
- Porting or migrating system configuration and master data (where appropriate) between different Quintiq installations or environments. MTM operate x 4 Quintiq environments: Development/Test, Pre-production, Production and Disaster Recovery.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary studies in a Software Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent disciplines.
