This is an ongoing, full time role commencing Term 4, 2024, hours are 8 - 4pm.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Supervise students, staff, school community members and vehicles at the school crossing
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and without supervision
- Reinforce the Stop, Look, Listen and Think road safety message to students using the crossing
- Ensure that the flags are displayed correctly whilst covering the crossing
- Ensures the stop sign enters the road on a diagonal angle ahead of themselves before entering the crossing and displaying the sign clearly for any road users by way of holding it vertically in the centre of the road.
- Maintains a high level of awareness, professional behaviour and conduct
- Uses a confident yet calm approach if required to intervene with non-compliance with road rules including with students, road users or members of the community.
- Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- National Police History Check (obtained within the last 6 months)
