**About the Centre**:
Flinders Centre Early Learning School is an independently owned and operated child care service offering high-quality education and care for children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age.

We provide a holistic approach to the education and care of young children in a warm and nurturing environment that reflect the unique diversity of the children, families and local community.

We believe there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to learning. Children learn at their own pace in their own way. Therefore, we follow a play-based curriculum that incorporates each child’s voice, interests, ideas, strengths, experiences and challenges to support each child’s learning journey.

**About The Role**:
Our amazing centre is looking for an Educational Leader to work with our team and bring to fruition a holistic and improved curriculum. This role is suitable for an experience Educational Leader looking for a new challenge.
- You will be supported by an experienced and supportive Centre Director and Management to develop your leadership and management skills.
- Above award wage and Ed Leader Allowance
- This will be a combination of working in learning environments with team members and completing documentation off the floor.
- Yearly pay increments and 6 month review.
- Monthly RDO
- 8 hour shift which includes a paid lunch break

**Qualifications & experience**
- ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree
- 2 years plus experience in a similar role required
- Experience with A&R
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework & the EYLF
- Genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
- Passionate about creating positive relationships with team members, children and their families
- High proficiency and knowledge in EYLF, NQF and curriculum teaching strategies

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Mentoring the team to achieve innovative curriculum ideas
- Supporting new team members
- Creating innovative educational programs that are reflective of the National Quality Framework & the EYLF
- Organising stimulating social, learning and physical intentional teaching experiences for the children
- Documenting the delivery of educational programs
- Supporting inclusion and learning
- Building and maintaining harmonious relationships with children, families, colleagues and community
- Ensure QA 1 Educational Program and Practice is contributed to the Self Assessment Tool/ QIP

**Essential**
- Bachelor in Early Childhood Education OR Experienced Diploma 50% completed of the degree required
- NESA Registration
- WWCC
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Child Protection Certificate

**Salary**: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
