**About Them**:
Now this a cool company, my client who are based in the heart of the CBD are an established Australian financial technology company going from strength to strength. Due to business evolution an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to join their fun and energetic team is now available. This additional hire for the team is to be responsible for integrating business needs and requirements into IT planning and operations.

**The Role**:
As part of the executive team you will report directly to the CEO and COO. With overarching responsibility for 50 staff across both onshore and offshore teams, this highly strategic role will see you partner with the CEO driving change and transformation across the group technology platforms. With full financial responsibility, you will manage budgets and profit and loss relating to your operational remit. The CTO will also need to be adept at overseeing all technical aspects and technological resources of the organisation for the purpose of organisational growth whilst establishing a technological vision, leading the company's technological development and strategic planning.

**You Will Need..**
- As a visionary you will be comfortable pushing the boundaries of technology in a highly evolving organisation.
- Strong management and leadership capabilities with proven evidence of nurturing and growing teams
- Superior commercial acumen and the ability to liaise successfully with external parties
- High level experience in collaborating with multiple business units globally to achieve company results
- Strong financial literacy including the ability to understand profit and loss statements and budgets
- A highly collaborative approach to workflow across the 3 brands
- A confident communicator who excels at senior executive level
- Thorough understanding of the various business units that make the technology landscape and how they interact to create an efficient machine.
- Proven success in delivering on unit and business targets using strategic approach
