A 3-6 month opportunity within a large infrastructure focused State Government department close to Perth CBD.

**Your new company**

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial controls and fixed assets officer to join a State Government department in Perth City. This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 3-month temporary contract with possible 3-month extension.

**Your new role**

Asset capitalisation, to include:

- Can follow organisational fixed asset classification structures
- Provides advice and support to Project Managers in relation to asset capitalisation matters.
- Core understanding of project Cost Breakdown Structures
- Excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholder
- Microsoft excel proficient.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Must understand work-in-progress management
- A tertiary qualification in finance/ business or economics
- A background in project-based work
- The ability to follow organisational fixed asset classification structures
- A core understanding of project cost breakdown structures
- Excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholder
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- A commercial finance background would be beneficial
