to join our rapidly growing team.
The role:
Based in our Subiaco Head Office as the
Financial Controller
you will be responsible for overseeing the Company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. This role provides strategic financial leadership, supporting management in decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting. Your duties will include;
- Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial performance reports for management including variance analysis and commentary to support strategic decision making.
- Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets, control costs, and support financial planning initiatives.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support business operations.
- Oversee external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About you:
- CA/CPA qualification, with a degree in Accounting, Commerce or/and Finance.
- prior experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance management role in an ASX listed company.
- Previous experience managing full financial functions and leading a finance team.
- Growth mindset with passion to learn and expand responsibilities based upon the business needs.
- Proficient user of the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in finance ERP systems preferably Pronto.
- Mining industry experience desirable.
