**About the Team**

The Rheinmetall Defence Australia (RDA) Training team is responsible for the design and delivery of high volume, complex training solutions to the Australian Defence Forces and other customers, across the range of RDA products.

**About the Role**

The Instructional Design Team Leader is responsible for conducting the Analysis and Design phases of the ADDIE instructional systems design framework. This includes the conduct of Performance Needs Analysis and developing training recommendations for the customer; and for the Design, Development and Evaluation of Learning Management Packages in accordance with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or equivalent; or currently undertaking an equivalent course; or having appropriate experience;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116);
- In-depth knowledge of Adult Learning Theories;
- Specialist level working knowledge of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL);
- Relevant product knowledge or the ability to gain such knowledge;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
- Able to work in alternate locations, in Australia or overseas, for up to 4 weeks at a time.
