**Consultant**

As a Consultant, you will support the delivery of diverse projects, and be encouraged to project manage suitable client projects. Professional excellence is important to you and you’ll contribute to our continuous improvement and learning culture through knowledge sharing.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Aon offices across Australia.

**What the day will look like**
- Support the delivery of multiple client projects across executive remuneration, employee reward and incentive design under supervision
- Assist the practice leaders in developing best in class content and market insight
- Develop and grow technical capability in Human Capital Solutions Advisory
- Support the delivery of technical and strategic advice to functional heads, C-suite and Board stakeholders on complex people issues across industries

We are part of the human capital solutions practice which is a strategic advisory group within Aon. We help our clients drive business performance and manage risk through people. You would be joining a team of +130 people who are trusted advisors to boards and management across an array of specialist areas including governance, executive and broad-based reward strategy, incentive plan design, pay equity, compensation data, analytics and insights, people analytics, talent assessment, employee benefits, well-being, wealth solutions, workers compensation and employee health & safety.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**

To be successful in this role you will have a background in a similar hand’s-on consulting role, with experience in employee rewards design and implementation.

We will also be looking for:

- Experience and exposure to position matching, job evaluation, executive and non-executive remuneration benchmarking, reward strategy, job architecture, pay frameworks, STI, LTI and sales incentive design
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to develop conclusions and fact-based advice from data and analytics
- Ability to think conceptually and diagnose ambiguous problems using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Ability to distil complex issues and ideas into clear, succinct thoughts and advice
- Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences including remuneration specialists and generalists
- Agility to pivot across different industries
- Curiosity and ability to broaden capability across Aon’s Human Capital Solutions offerings.
