Strategy Consultant – Manager/Director

Our key principals have extensive experience from top-tier strategy consulting firms as well as
direct investment experience
at top-quartile private equity and investment firms. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated 
Managers and Directors with 3-8+ years of strategy consulting experience
who can independently lead workstreams/projects and immediately contribute to the strategy consulting business from day one.

Managers and Directors at Genesis will gain exposure to both

work as well as advisory work across the
deal and
investment cycle
:

• Strategy consulting
   – we work on a range of the most critical corporate strategy and deal/investment matters facing boards and C-level executives for businesses ranging from ASX50 businesses, private equity funds and portfolio companies to high-growth entrepreneurial ventures. Typical projects include, but are not restricted to:
  Board level growth strategy
  , customer strategy,
  commercial due diligence
  , acquisition and investment strategy and
  value creation projects
• M&A advisory
   – we provide a full range of M&A and corporate development & structuring advisory services with a focus on private equity and the lower mid-market. Typical projects include, but are not restricted to:
  buy-side deal advisory
  (e.g. investment case modelling and IC papers, deal management and negotiations),
  deal origination
  , sell-side deal advisory (e.g. investment memorandum creation, sell-side deal management) and
  capital raising

About you

• 3-5+ (Manager) / 6-8+ (Director) years of strategy
  consulting experience developed at a reputable firm
• Experienced in
  investment related or deal work
  (e.g. CDDs/VDDs, post-deal strategy and value creation) and developing skills in the
  full investment/deal cycle
  (e.g. deal origination, investment theses, deal advisory)
• A
  friendly, collaborative
  team player who is also an independent thinker
• Exhibits a
  strong level of ownership and growth mindset
  , adept in collaborating with and
  inspiring team members
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Highly analytical, with modelling skills highly regarded
• Relevant Bachelor degree or commensurate work experience in lieu
