**About the Role**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Safety Officer to join our growing business Working collaboratively alongside our dedicated project team, you will take the lead on providing support and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Assist the site team with establishing and maintaining a safe, workable, and professionally presented worksite.
- Support the project team in relation to the implementation and ongoing development of the project’s WHS and Environmental Management Plans.
- Provide a mentoring/coaching approach with workers in relation to compliance with the QHSE Management Systems and their legal obligations.
- Manage compliance with the QHSE Management Systems, including HammerTech and Aconex.
- Actively manage safety compliance and hazards on site.
- Promote a positive safety culture on site with subcontractors and project team.

**About You**

You will have a passion for safety and previous experience within the commercial construction industry. You will be a motivated team player with the following knowledge and experience:

- Proven experience in managing QHSE on construction sites
- Current SA drivers license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Cert IV in WHS is desirable
