**About the role**
The Associate Director Integrity is a permanent full-time leadership role at TAFE NSW, responsible for developing and managing the organisation’s integrity strategy, ethics, workplace investigations and fraud and corruption prevention frameworks. The position leads a team of integrity specialists who have expertise in, and perform, investigations and drive corruption prevention initiatives. This role has a high degree of autonomy and therefore requires deep knowledge of, and experience in law, fraud, corruption, child protection, misconduct and investigations, including public interest disclosures, with a strong capability to exercise sound judgement in dealing with highly confidential, sensitive and complex issues that often involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Director Workplace Relations, the position will be involved in developing the organisation’s integrity strategy and continuously improving on fostering an integrity culture at TAFE NSW. The role includes providing strategic briefings based on thematic insights to executive leaders and senior management as well as on operational matters that are highly confidential, sensitive and complex that pertain to fraud, corruption, misconduct and investigations. The position requires the ability to be a strategic partner in liaising with key regulatory bodies such as the NSW ICAC, the NSW Ombudsman, the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian and the NSW Police Force. This is a critical and influential leadership opportunity to make positive systemic change, foster a culture of integrity, and significantly contribute to TAFE NSW continuing to be a responsible and accountable NSW Government Sector Agency.
**About You**
You are a seasoned integrity professional with a degree qualification in law or a closely related discipline, bringing deep expertise in leading a team of specialists to manage highly confidential, sensitive and complex cases involving fraud, corruption, child protection, misconduct and investigations in a procedurally fair way as TAFE NSW is both a NSW Government Sector Agency and a Federal system employer that must comply with the Commonwealth’s Fair Work legislation. Your experience preferably spans state and/or federal government with exposure to public sector regulatory environments. You are confident in developing strong internal and external relations and understand the value and importance of them to be successful in this role.
