Join a high-demand, business-critical role with a growing leader in seafood distribution.
**About Us**
Northside Seafood Suppliers is a trusted and well-established wholesale seafood distributor based at the Sydney Fish Market in Pyrmont, NSW (Corner of Pyrmont Bridge Rd. & Bank St). As we continue to grow our operations and prepare for an exciting relocation to the new Sydney Fish Market, we remain focused on strengthening our systems, compliance, and internal processes.
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Information Management Coordinator (Information and Organisation Professionals) to play a vital role in the business. This is a key position, already in high demand, supporting daily operations, compliance obligations, and digital systems across departments.
**About the Role**
You’ll be responsible for coordinating the information flow, data integrity, IT systems, and compliance functions that keep our operation running smoothly and legally. As we scale, this role will expand in scope and leadership, contributing to business transformation through better data and smarter systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
❖ Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of business records and digital information assets in compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
❖ Develop and implement internal policies, documentation for operations, compliance, and digital tools usage.
❖ Maintain and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including systems, hardware, and data protection protocols.
❖ Analyse inventory and operational data to generate insights and reports that guide decision-making and improve efficiency.
❖ Regulate order processing, invoicing, and returns to maintain accurate transaction records and timely fulfillment.
❖ Collaborate with third-party vendors to implement, support, and troubleshoot digital platforms and tools.
❖ Provide training and guidance to staff on recordkeeping, system use, and compliance requirements.
❖ Monitor food safety and HACCP compliance across operations to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
❖ Conduct regular reviews and audits of systems and workflows, identify risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
**About You**
❖ Minimum 3 years’ experience in information coordination, data systems, or compliance-focused roles.
❖ Tertiary qualification in Information Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
❖ Proper understanding of regulatory environments, internal audits, and digital platforms.
❖ Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
❖ Experience in a food industry or HACCP regulated business is desirable but not essential.
**Why Work with Us?**
❖ Play a central role in a growing company where your work matters daily.
❖ Help lead digital and operational improvements as we prepare for long-term expansion.
❖ Be part of a professional, committed team with stable employment and a strong future.
❖ Competitive salary and a workplace based in the heart of the Sydney seafood industry, soon expanding to a new world-class facility.
