Technology Risk Advisor

**About the role**

As the Technology Risk Analyst for the Chief Information Office, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager Technology Risk in the management and assurance of risks to information assets are actively managed, escalated and treated in accordance with the Great Southern Bank enterprise risk management framework and keeping in line with the Risk Appetite Statement. You will support the running and improvement of Great Southern Bank’s technology risk processes that provide assurance to stakeholders that their information assets are appropriately managed and secured.

This is a critical role within the Cyber, Architecture, and Technology Risk team, ultimately reporting into the CISO and working closely with the Cyber and Technology platforms teams across various transformation programs including, but not limited to, Cloud migrations and Identity and Access Management.

Your key contributions will include:

- Governance of business units, ensuring that appropriate assurance activities are performed in a timely fashion
- Supporting technology transformation across the enterprise, including cloud migration assessments, third party security reviews, and other IT modernisation projects
- Working with 2nd Line of Defence and other with internal business stakeholders, advising of technology risk concerns and recommending appropriate courses of action for remediation

**What we’re looking for**
- 2-3 years’ experience in an audit, risk management, compliance, technology risk, and/or consulting role
- Tertiary qualifications within IT, or a related discipline
- Experience within information security governance, assurance, risk and / or compliance activities including:

- Understanding risk management and prioritisation of risk specifically within a defined Risk and Control Taxonomy
- Ability to understand Incident and Issue management principles and advise technology and provide appropriate advice and challenge where required
- Ability to present IT Security and Awareness training materials to new joiners to the organisation on an ongoing basis
- Participate in activities to promote and test the resilience of the IT environment, including disaster recovery testing - from time-to-time you may be called on to arrange such testing activities
