Hays is currently working with an established organisation in Newcastle, NSW looking for an experienced Test Lead to join their team

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for driving and coordinating testing efforts relevant for a Human Resources transformation project. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all testing phases while leading a team of testers. You will support the testing team with creating and executing test cases, prepare test environments, report test results, coordinate testing and participate in other related test activities. Working closely with the business unit, you will coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing and communicate closely with relevant stakeholders to develop documentation and obtain sign-offs.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong understanding of test methodologies and execution concepts
- Extensive experience in managing and coordinating testing on complex projects, ideally with previous exposure to HR projects
- Manual testing utilising qTest or similar test management tools
- Understanding of technical and API testing will be highly regarded
- Ability to run testing without assistance (planning/preparation/execution/reporting) and consult on outcomes
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
