With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. **The Role**

We are currently recruiting for skilled and enthusiastic SIL Support Workers in **the Browns Plains Area**. These roles may include shifts such as days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, weekend and short notice shifts so flexibility is a must. _Experience in a SIL environment is adventageous._

As a Support Worker with RCS, you will be responsible for the individualised support requested by our Participants. These supports may include: personal care, emotional support, domestic assistance, complex care, mental health and personal development of our Participants. You will provide a range of community access services to assist people with a disability to be actively involved in their local community. RCS Support Workers will strive to make our Participants feel valued, respected and engage them in meaningful opportunities and relationships.

We have **Two Male Participants requiring 24/7 supports** including **active overnight supports. **Skills in the following areas are desired;
- Medication Management
- Modified Mealtime Management
- Personal Care Tasks including continence management
- Skin integrity management
- Wound Care management
- Diabetes Management
- Hoist Transfers

Are you a person who likes to make a difference in peoples lives? Is able to adapt to different situations? Think outside the box to solve problems?

**Skills and Experiences**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Previous experience in SIL environments is advantageous
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
