With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. **About the Role**

We are urgently looking for **Casual Support Workers **to join our team and improve our Participants day to day lives in the Browns Plains Area. As a casual Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person centred active support to people living with a disability.

We have a variety of shifts available across morning and afternoon including sleepovers. You will need to be flexible to take on shifts from Monday to Sunday and sleepover shifts. We need people who can:

- Provide support to our Participants everyday living tasks to allow them to live as independently as possible.
- Provide personal care and domestic assistance support.
- Assist Participants to access the community for appointments, groups or general fun activities that the Participant enjoys
- Meal assistance, assisting to prepare and cook meals
- Assist Participants with medication.
- Passionate in supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals in a person centre approach
- Great sense of empathy, accountability and respect
- Good understanding of NDIS Standards
- Willingness to work one-on-one setting
- Comfortable to work within a multi-cultural setting
- Be creative and can navigate through complex situations
- Flexibility to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, including weekends and sleepovers
- Immediate start

**Essential Selection Criteria**
- QLD Driver’s licence
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Relevant certificate relating to the disability sector
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- COVID 19 Infection Control Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (2 doses required)
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
